I am a Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, and a Reader (on leave) in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London, where I am a member of the Geometry group. My interests include contact and symplectic geometry, knot theory, gauge theory, and low-dimensional topology.
