For students and researchers interested in working with me...
I (typically) hold an office hour on Fridays 4-5pm. Feel free to drop by
if you are a current Imperial student and want to chat about maths
and physics. When I'm teaching, I will need to give priority to
students in my module during this hour.
Undergraduates:
I usually am happy to take on up to two MSci project students per
year. If you are interested, it is best to contact me in summer term
the academic year before the project would start.
MSc Students:
Applied Mathematics MSc students are encouraged to speak
with me in December or January, shortly after the projects are announced.
PhD Students:
PhD projects are available in my group. I encourage prospective PhD
students to contact me before applying to our PhD
programme (Mathematics Research PhD).
Postdoctoral Researchers:
There are a number of competitive schemes at Imperial like the Borland and Chapman Fellowships to fund researchers at
the postdoctoral level. There are also external schemes (funded by
EPSRC, the Leverhulme Trust, and others). If you are interested in such possibilities, feel free to contact me.
