PhD studentship available (Aug 2024): I am happy to advertise a funded PhD position at Imperial on the computational modelling of cilia-driven particle transport in the lungs. The PhD project is part of the Imperial-TUM joint academy of doctoral studies and will involve an interdisciplinary collaboration with experimental lab lead by Dr Janna Nowrath at the Helmholtz Munich and TUM. Suitable candidates will have strong undergraduate and master’s degrees in mathematics, physics, or engineering, and will have a demonstrated interest and ability in scientific computing.
