Each year I make a few changes to my webpages. When I first started making webpages I used a JavaScript framework - this worked for a while but I found it tricky to maintain. More recently, I started using pandoc to pre-process markdown files to html and then upload those. My latest changes involved removing this pre-processing step and writing articles in HTML. I now have a small Makefile that concatenates these articles and uploads them! Finally, I've also stripped most of the unnecessary styling - granted the site is a bit boring - but in terms of functionality I think we're there :).
