In the next few images we show the result of computing the area inside the marked square. The magnification of the square is x50 (in area terms 50 x 50 = 2,500). In order to obtain a reasonable resolution of the image inside the square, a very large number of computations needed to be done. The first image we show is the result of 3 billion iterations.

In the next image we show the result of 21 billion iterations.

Finally, we show the result of 209 billion iterations. Notice the fine detail. In spite of the fact that the mapping used to produce this image was `chaotic', the image shows very fine and sharp detail, even at high magnification.
